Elizabeth McGregor
Recipient of Member of the Order of Canada, 2021, Betsy is recognized as an articulate champion of ethics in leadership nationally and globally - especially advancing youth, diversity and women in leadership.
Betsy began her career with the United Nations in South-East Asia and Europe. Founder of a global network of professional women in veterinary medicine, she has been a pathbreaker for gender mainstreaming in agriculture, science and technology. Her themes on 'Value-Centered Leadership' are based on her Research Fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Her workshop on 'Mountains and Leadership' were designed at Harvard Kennedy School, filmed in the Rockies and based on personally summiting two of the world's Seven Summits.
Betsy is author of the book 'Women on the Ballot: Pathways to Political Power' based on interviews with 94 Canadian trailblazers. Three-time candidate for nomination and two-time federal candidate for Canada's Parliament, Betsy has designed a "Toolbox" to equip and empower candidates - and encourage us all to "Be her. Ask her - or Support Her."
She has worked around the world in international development and brings a wealth of experience and excellence to all she tackles.
